About the role

HIRING: Part-Time Medical Biller | Remote
We’re looking for an experienced Medical Biller to join a small behavioral/mental health practice on a part-time, long-term basis.
Position: Part-Time Medical Biller (Fully Remote)
Schedule: Approximately 20 hours/week, Monday–Friday
Preferred Hours: 1:00 PM–5:00 PM or 9:00 AM–2:00 PM Central Time
What we're looking for:
- Strong U.S. medical billing experience
- Experience in behavioral/mental healthcare
- End-to-end medical billing knowledge
- Experience with insurance verification and prior authorization
- Claims submission and follow-up
- Denials and appeals
- Payment tracking
- ERA processing and reconciliations
- Clear written and spoken English
- Strong communication skills when working with practice staff
- IntakeQ and PracticeQ experience is highly preferred
This role is expected to remain part-time for at least one year.
