MUST HAVE
2+ years healthcare VA / medical admin experience
Strong patient phone & front-desk experience
Experience with scheduling & patient intake
Hands-on insurance verification
Experience with medical billing / denial management
Excellent spoken & written English
Calm, compassionate, professional phone manner
Strong attention to detail
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Comfortable handling HIPAA-protected information
STRONGLY PREFERRED
Tebra experience
Prior authorization experience
Psychiatry / behavioral health / mental health experience
RESPONSIBILITIES
Answer incoming and make outbound patient calls
Schedule and manage appointments
Assist with patient intake and insurance information
Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
Assist with prior authorizations
Follow up with insurance companies
Assist with billing, payments, balances, and denials
Maintain accurate patient and billing records
Use Tebra and learn practice workflows
Rate/offer determined based on experience and interview performance
