About the role

📌 Position: Part-Time Medical Biller (Fully Remote)
🕐 Schedule: Approximately 20 hours/week, Monday–Friday
⏰ Preferred Hours: 1:00 PM–5:00 PM or 9:00 AM–2:00 PM Central Time
What we're looking for:
  • Strong U.S. medical billing experience
  • Experience in behavioral/mental healthcare
  • End-to-end medical billing knowledge
  • Experience with insurance verification and prior authorization
  • Claims submission and follow-up
  • Denials and appeals
  • Payment tracking
  • ERA processing and reconciliations
  • Clear written and spoken English
  • Strong communication skills when working with practice staff
  • IntakeQ and PracticeQ experience is highly preferred
This role is expected to remain part-time for at least one year.
