Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Insurance Restoration Estimator with strong Xactimate skills and hands-on experience preparing estimates for US insurance restoration projects. This specialized role requires expertise in both mitigation and reconstruction estimating, property damage claims, and insurance carrier supplements.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed Xactimate estimates for water, fire, storm, and other property damage.
Develop mitigation and reconstruction scopes of work.
Review photos, measurements, inspection reports, and project documentation.
Identify missing scope items, pricing discrepancies, and necessary estimate supplements.
Review insurance carrier estimates and coordinate revisions with adjusters and project managers.
Maintain accurate records and manage estimates independently.
Qualifications
Direct experience in insurance restoration estimating is required.
Strong hands-on proficiency in Xactimate.
Experience preparing both mitigation and reconstruction estimates.
Knowledge of US insurance restoration workflows, claims, and supplement processes.
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and English communication skills.
Ability to work remotely and manage deadlines with minimal supervision.
Important: General construction estimating experience alone will not qualify. Candidates must have relevant insurance restoration experience and be confident using Xactimate.
