Job Summary
Team Outsource is urgently looking for a Tableau & Smartsheet Specialist to help integrate Smartsheet data with Tableau and develop automated reporting and analytics solutions for a client in the U.S. construction industry. The role will be responsible for establishing reliable data connections, building interactive dashboards, automating data refreshes, and providing guidance to the internal team on using and maintaining reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Integrate Smartsheet with Tableau using APIs, connectors, Data Shuttle, or other appropriate integration methods.
- Develop and maintain automated data connections between Smartsheet and Tableau.
- Build interactive Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualizations for executive and operational reporting.
- Set up automated processes to pull and synchronize data from Smartsheet into Tableau.
- Configure data refreshes and workflows to ensure reports remain accurate and up to date.
- Apply appropriate data modeling and ETL practices to prepare and structure data for reporting.
- Review existing data sources and recommend efficient integration and reporting solutions.
- Ensure dashboards are user-friendly, accurate, and aligned with business reporting requirements.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to the internal team on Tableau reporting and analytics.
- Create documentation covering dashboard structure, data connections, refresh processes, and maintenance procedures.
- Provide recommendations and best practices for the ongoing management and maintenance of Tableau dashboards.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience developing Tableau dashboards and reports.
- Proven experience integrating Tableau with Smartsheet through APIs, Data Shuttle, connectors, or similar integration methods.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL, data integration, and report automation.
- Experience developing executive dashboards and operational reports.
- Experience setting up automated data refreshes and reporting workflows.
- Proven experience working with U.S.-based companies or clients (required).
- Ability to troubleshoot data connections and resolve integration or reporting issues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Experience providing user training and creating technical documentation is preferred.

- Ability to work during U.S. business hours (graveyard shift in Philippine time).
