WE'RE HIRING: Service Coordinator & Dispatcher VA - Electrical Services
An established electrical service and maintenance business in Brisbane, Australia is looking for a full-time Service Coordinator & Dispatcher VA to join their team.
This is a key role connecting customers, technicians and management. You'll manage the phones, admin inbox and daily schedule for 5-7 field service crews, making sure the right technician gets to the right job at the right time.
What you'll do
Answer around 15-25 inbound calls per day from customers, businesses and property managers
Manage approximately 20 emails daily, including bookings, quote requests and follow-ups
Create and update jobs in ServiceM8
Schedule and dispatch 5-7 crews based on skills, job duration, location and travel time
Handle urgent and emergency bookings, cancellations, delays and reschedules
Keep customers and technicians updated throughout the day
Confirm appointments and follow up outstanding enquiries
Make sure the next day's schedule is organised before finishing
Escalate issues to management when needed
What we're looking for
Experience scheduling or dispatching field service crews
Experience in electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, maintenance, cleaning, pest control or similar is highly relevant
Strong spoken English and confidence speaking with Australian customers
Strong written English for emails and job notes
Confident making scheduling decisions independently
Good judgment and ability to know when to escalate
Reliable internet, backup connection and backup power
Quiet, professional workspace for phone calls
Nice to have
Hands-on ServiceM8 experience
Experience with simPRO, AroFlo, Tradify, Fergus, Jobber, ServiceTitan or similar
Experience supporting an Australian trades business
Experience scheduling 5+ crews
Emergency or after-hours callout experience
Familiarity with Google Maps for route planning
Full-time | 40 hours/week | Monday-Friday
8 AM-4 PM Brisbane time
6 AM-2 PM Manila time - all year round
Start: By early October to allow for training and handover
Probation: 6 months
