About the Role
Team Outsource is actively hiring additional Project Coordinators with a strong background in U.S. multifamily renovation projects to support our valued client in the construction and general contracting industry.
We are looking for a highly organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, meets deadlines, and is eager to grow. Experience with U.S. multifamily apartment renovation and upgrade projects is required.
About the Client
Our client is a U.S.-based construction company specializing in apartment renovation services. They have successfully completed projects involving multifamily residential apartment complexes, condominium associations, retail buildings, office spaces, and other commercial properties.
Important Note
This is NOT an entry-level position. Only candidates with proven experience coordinating or managing U.S.-based multifamily renovation projects will be considered. Applicants without relevant U.S. construction project experience will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Scheduling:
1. Create detailed project schedules and timelines.
2. Ensure all team members and stakeholders are informed of their responsibilities and deadlines.
3. Adjust schedules as necessary to meet project objectives and changing conditions.
Budget Management:
1. Monitor and manage project budgets.
2. Track costs, review and approve invoices, and ensure expenses stay within the allocated budget.
3. Address any financial discrepancies in a timely manner.
Resource Management:
1. Coordinate and allocate labor, equipment, and materials.
2. Ensure resources are available and efficiently used to avoid delays.
3. Work with suppliers and subcontractors to manage resource availability.
Communication:
1. Facilitate effective communication between all parties involved, including contractors, engineers, architects, and clients.
2. Provide regular updates and ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
3. Resolve conflicts and ensure all stakeholders are well-informed.
Risk Management:
1. Identify potential risks early in the project lifecycle.
2. Develop mitigation strategies, contingency plans, and address any emerging issues.
3. Monitor the project for risks and adjust plans as necessary to minimize impact.
Quality Control:
1. Ensure that construction meets required quality standards.
2. Conduct regular inspections and address any quality issues promptly.
3. Work with teams to ensure quality assurance throughout the project.
Documentation:
1. Maintain accurate and organized project records, including contracts, permits, drawings, and change orders.
2. Ensure that all parties have access to necessary documents and approvals.
3. Prepare regular project status reports.
Safety Management:
1. Implement and enforce safety protocols on-site.
2. Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
3. Work to create a safe working environment for all staff and visitors.
Qualifications and Skills
  • At least two (2) years of proven experience in project coordination within the U.S. construction industry (required).
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience with multifamily renovation projects in the United States is required.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and project management principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to create and manage project schedules and budgets.
  • Familiarity with project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Procore, or similar).
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the construction industry.
Work Requirements
  • Ability to work during U.S. Business Hours (Graveyard Shift in Philippine Time).
  • Comfortable using time-tracking tools such as Hubstaff.
  • Available to start ASAP.
In summary, the construction project coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of a construction project, from planning and scheduling to resource management, communication, risk management, quality control, documentation, and safety management.
You will help manage overall operations and be responsible for the effective and successful management of labor, productivity, quality control, and safety measures as established and set for the Operations Department. The experienced coordinator will ensure safe and efficient operations. Serve as a company representative on regulatory issues. Enhance the operational procedure, systems, and principles in the areas of information flow and management, business processes, enhanced management reporting, and look for opportunities to expand systems. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company's policies and applicable laws.
