About the role
Part-time, remote, ongoing. About 10 hours per week. Pay: $4.50 – $6.50 USD per hour, based on experience.
About us
T-LifeBio is a small, founder-led health and wellness coaching business based in Elgin, Texas. We help clients build healthier daily habits through one-on-one coaching. We're growing our presence on Facebook and Instagram and need a dependable assistant to keep our posting schedule running smoothly.
The role
You will schedule posts that have already been written and approved. You will not be writing health content or making creative decisions on your own. This role is right for someone who is organized, careful, and consistent.
What you'll do
- Schedule approved posts to our Facebook Page and Instagram account, 3–4 times per week, using Meta Business Suite, Buffer, or a similar scheduling tool.
- Upload the correct images, captions, hashtags, and links exactly as approved.
- Keep a simple content calendar (Google Sheets or similar) showing what is scheduled, when, and its approval status.
- Double-check every post before it goes live (spelling, image, link, date, time zone).
- Flag any comments or messages that need the owner's attention. Do not reply on the business's behalf unless asked.
- Send a short weekly update listing what was posted and what is scheduled next.
Requirements
- Reliable written English.
- Hands-on experience scheduling posts for Facebook and Instagram (Meta Business Suite, Buffer, Later, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail. You catch typos, wrong images, and wrong dates before they go out.
- Availability for at least part of each workday during US Central Time business hours, so you can respond to messages and make same-day fixes.
- A stable internet connection and your own computer.
- Basic Canva skills are a plus, but not required.
Content rules you must follow
Health and wellness content is closely regulated in the US and on Meta platforms. As part of this job you agree to:
1. Schedule only client-approved posts. Every post, including the caption, image, hashtags, and link, must have written approval from the owner before scheduling. Do not edit approved wording. If something looks wrong, ask first.
2. Make no health claims. Do not write or add wording that promises to cure, treat, or prevent a disease, or guarantees results (for example, "lose 20 lbs in 30 days" or "reverses diabetes"). The US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) requires health claims to be backed by "competent and reliable scientific evidence."
3. Post no before-and-after body content. Do not post before-and-after photos or body-comparison images, and nothing that shames anyone's body or appearance. Meta's advertising standards restrict this content.
4. Don't speak to anyone's health condition. Avoid wording that asserts or implies something about the reader's health, such as "Are you struggling with your weight?" or "Your thyroid is the problem." Meta's policies restrict this kind of personal-attribute language.
5. Post testimonials only as approved. Post client testimonials or reviews only exactly as approved. Never create, edit, or embellish them.
6. Keep client information private. Never post or share client names, photos, or details without written permission from the owner.
How to apply
Use the application contact listed on this job post and include:
1. A short introduction (3–5 sentences) about yourself, your social media experience, and the scheduling tools you've used.
2. A sample of your past social media work (for example, screenshots of a content calendar or examples of scheduled posts).
3. Your available hours, stated in US Central Time.
4. Your expected hourly rate within the range above.
Please put "Wellness Scheduling VA" in the subject line of your application so we know you read the full posting.
We'll review applications and reach out to shortlisted candidates for a short paid test task.
