About the role

WE’RE HIRING: OPERATIONS & TRAVEL SUPPORT
Go Travel Community is looking for a new team member to join us in a full-time, remote role supporting our day-to-day operations and traveler experience.
This is an opportunity to work in the travel industry, support a growing U.S.-based travel community, and potentially have opportunities to travel as part of the role as our Community Journeys and operations continue to grow.
You’ll work closely with me and primarily focus on administrative and travel-related support. I’m looking for someone who is organized, resourceful, detail-oriented, and comfortable learning new processes and figuring things out independently.
What you’ll be helping with:
• Building and updating travel proposals and itineraries
• Researching destinations, hotels, activities, transportation, and other travel options
• Organizing traveler and booking information
• Assisting with client and administrative follow-ups
• Data entry, documentation, and keeping records organized
• Supporting ongoing projects and day-to-day business operations
• Working inside our systems and keeping information up to date
• Other operational and administrative tasks as needed
You’ll have an edge if you have:
• Previous experience in the travel industry, especially supporting U.S. or international clients
• Experience building travel proposals or itineraries
• Experience working remotely with U.S.-based clients or businesses
• Familiarity with tools such as Notion, Google Workspace, Canva, or similar platforms
• Strong research and organizational skills
• Good written English and attention to detail
• The ability to learn new tools and processes quickly
Previous travel industry experience is a plus, but it is not required. We’re also open to someone who is earlier in their career but is highly organized, resourceful, willing to learn, and takes ownership of their work.
Schedule & Compensation
Full-time, remote position
8 hours/day, 5 days/week, following U.S. business hours
Compensation increase upon successful completion of the 3-month probationary period, based on performance and responsibilities
Annual compensation review thereafter
Potential opportunities to travel as part of the role
The first three months are designed to give both sides time to make sure the role is a good fit. You’ll receive guidance on our processes and systems while gradually taking ownership of recurring responsibilities.
You’ll be working closely with me, so I’m looking for someone I can eventually trust to take ownership of tasks without needing to be walked through every single step.
