CarePop is looking for experienced healthcare professionals to join our growing network of remote professionals supporting healthcare practices.
We are currently accepting applications for:
1. Medical Virtual Assistant (MVA)
Responsibilities may include:
- Patient scheduling and appointment coordination
- Answering calls, emails, and patient inquiries
- Patient intake and registration
- Insurance verification and eligibility checks
- Referral coordination and follow-up
- Prior authorization support
- Medical records and documentation
- Data entry and administrative support
- Communicating with patients, providers, and insurance companies
- Supporting day-to-day healthcare office operations
Preferred experience:
- Medical Virtual Assistant or Healthcare Virtual Assistant experience
- Experience supporting U.S.-based healthcare practices
- Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems
- Experience with insurance verification, referrals, or prior authorization
- Strong communication and organizational skills
2. Medical Biller
Responsibilities may include:
- Preparing and submitting medical claims
- Reviewing claims for accuracy and completeness
- Insurance verification and benefits review
- Payment posting and account reconciliation
- Following up on unpaid and denied claims
- Accounts receivable (A/R) follow-up
- Identifying and resolving billing discrepancies
- Communicating with insurance companies and healthcare offices
- Maintaining accurate billing records
Preferred experience:
- Previous medical billing experience
- Knowledge of U.S. healthcare billing processes
- Familiarity with insurance claims and payer requirements
- Experience with EHR/EMR or billing software
- Knowledge of denial management and A/R
- Strong attention to detail
3. Medical Coding Specialist
Responsibilities may include:
- Reviewing medical documentation and assigning appropriate codes
- ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding
- Ensuring accurate and compliant coding
- Reviewing charts for coding completeness
- Identifying coding discrepancies
- Supporting claims accuracy and reimbursement
- Maintaining knowledge of coding guidelines and payer requirements
- Communicating coding-related concerns when necessary
Preferred experience:
- Previous medical coding experience
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS
- Experience with U.S. healthcare coding
- CPC, CCS, or other relevant certification is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and documentation review skills

Employment Type: Depending on client opportunity
