About the Role
We are looking for a Litigation Filing Paralegal to support our attorneys and help manage cases from filing through trial preparation.
Please note: This is a graveyard shift position and follows Central Standard Time (CST).
Responsibilities
Prepare petitions and other litigation documents
File lawsuits and legal documents through state and federal e-filing systems
Track service of process, citations, and court deadlines
Prepare discovery requests and responses
Draft subpoenas, motions, and notices
Assist with expert witness designations
Coordinate hearing settings and other court-related matters
Communicate with court clerks, opposing counsel, and other parties
Conduct legal and factual research
Assist with trial preparation and filings
Requirements
Juris Doctor (JD) or licensed lawyer
Previous litigation or paralegal experience
Personal injury experience preferred
Familiar with legal filing procedures and court deadlines
Strong written and verbal English communication
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple cases
Comfortable using legal software, Microsoft Office, and online filing systems
Experience with Texas litigation is a plus
Must be willing and able to work a graveyard shift following CST hours
Must be available to start ASAP
