About the role
Full time | Remote | Monday to Friday | Night shift
A fast growing commercial contractor in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada needs a Junior Project Manager. They work on the outside of commercial buildings, with 5 or 6 projects running at a time.
You will work with their Project Manager, then run 1 or 2 projects on your own from start to finish. You will also cover for her when she is away.
What you will do:
Turn estimates into project budgets and schedules
Build 3 week look ahead schedules for the site foreman
Track site production and project costs
Order materials and work with suppliers
Manage change orders and RFIs
Keep drawings up to date in Procore
Do monthly progress billing
Send reports to the management team
You must have:
2+ years in construction project management or coordination
Hands on Procore software experience (required)
Able to read construction drawings
Strong English
Able to work Atlantic Canada daytime hours approx. 8-5pm
Bonus: QuickBooks, commercial exterior work, North American clients
