Are you an experienced Medical VA with behavioral health experience in New York? We’d love to hear from you!
We’re looking for a Virtual Medical Assistant to support an independent psychiatric nurse practitioner with both telehealth and in-person patients.
🩺 What You’ll Do:
- Schedule appointments & send reminders
- Handle patient intake & insurance verification
- Manage and route patient portal messages
- Prepare prior authorization paperwork
- Submit and follow up on insurance claims
- Send pre-approved patient communications
- Log prescription refill requests for provider review
⭐ We’re Looking For:
✅ Behavioral/mental health practice experience in New York – required
✅ Strong understanding of healthcare administrative workflows
✅ Comfortable with HIPAA-compliant communication
✅ Excellent organization and attention to detail
Bonus: Valant experience + advanced medical billing/claims experience
