We are looking for a Social Media and Video Editor VA to manage social media content and support digital content production. This role is heavily focused on video editing and content repurposing, alongside social media management, content planning, and basic website maintenance.
Work Hours:
⭐ Part-time
⭐ 15 hours per week
⭐ Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 6:00 pm MX Time
Rate:
⭐ $4/hr USD
We don’t take a cut of your pay - ever.
You receive 100% of your full advertised rate - paid directly to you by your client. We never take a cut, percentage, or reduce your earnings in any way.
POTENTIAL TASKS
Social Media Management & Content Planning
Manage and maintain social media accounts, ensuring content is organized and published on schedule
Plan and organize content calendars, tasks, and deadlines
Research relevant topics, trends, and content ideas to support ongoing content creation
Video Editing & Content Repurposing
Edit social media videos for publishing across relevant platforms
Repurpose existing content into engaging video formats suitable for different platforms
Ensure video content is organized, edited, and ready for publishing within agreed deadlines
Website & Digital Support
Assist with website updates, maintenance, and general content changes
Support other digital content tasks as required
Task Management & Communication
Prioritize tasks independently and manage deadlines across multiple responsibilities
Communicate proactively with the team regarding progress, delays, and outstanding tasks
Identify and flag potential issues early to help prevent disruptions to content production and publishing
AI Tools & Productivity
Use AI tools to support content creation, research, editing workflows, and overall productivity
Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and work more efficiently
SKILLS/EXPERIENCES REQUIRED
Proven experience in social media management is required
Strong video editing skills are essential and will be the biggest focus of the role
Good written and spoken English communication skills
Proficient in using AI for several functions such as research, editing and overall productivity
🌟 Preferred But Not Required:
Has used Notion in the past is a plus
Experience with content or online research
Familiarity with additional social media, content creation, or digital marketing tools
