About the role
Camp Cake is a growing women’s fitness and lifestyle brand based in the U.S. I’m looking for a creative, reliable part-time Content & Marketing Virtual Assistant who can help turn raw footage into engaging social media content and support the day-to-day execution of our marketing.
Hours: Approximately 10 hours per week to start
Starting Rate: $3.50 USD/hour
There is potential for increased hours and rate based on performance and business growth.
Main Responsibilities:
- Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and similar platforms
- Add captions, text overlays, sound effects, music, transitions, and engaging cuts
- Repurpose existing footage into multiple pieces of content
- Help organize raw footage, finished content, and content ideas
- Assist with basic Canva graphics and social media assets when needed
- Research relevant trends, audios, hooks, and content ideas
- Help maintain a simple content calendar
- Assist with basic social media and marketing tasks related to events, ticket sales, partnerships, and brand growth
Ideal Candidate:
- Comfortable editing in CapCut or a similar short-form video editing platform
- Understands current TikTok/Reels editing styles
- Has strong attention to detail
- Can follow a brand style while still bringing creative ideas
- Communicates clearly and reliably
- Can meet deadlines without needing constant supervision
- Canva experience is a plus
- Interest in fitness, wellness, lifestyle, events, or women-focused brands is a plus
