About the role
We are seeking a marketing assistant for a travelling performance artist who will be responsible for establishing and maintaining contacts with presenters and corporate clients and creating social media content.
The successful candidate will be a mature, dependable and professional worker. Must be a clear communicator.
We value resourcefulness, creativity and a thoughtful approach to work; we are NOT impressed by use of AI tools
Candidates with the right skill set may be asked to attend an interview and complete skill testing.
Job Duties
Research contacts and leads and send personalized emails to corporate contacts and theatre presenters using prepared templates.
Organize and document corporate and theatre contacts
May be asked to do follow-up or cold calls
Draft and post content on Facebook and Instagram
Meet regularly with us to discuss work plan, social media posts, and expectations.
May be asked to prepare invoices and contracts
Qualifications
A College / Bachelor of Arts degree; no students please
Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English
Intermediate-level knowledge of Microsoft (Word & Excel) and Google (Docs & Sheet) applications
Experience with graphic design, photo editing, writing for social media post
Strong work ethic with professional manner
Meticulous attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions and accept constructive feedback
Job Requirements
Reliable internet connection
At times, may be asked to work 10am to 5pm Eastern Time (US)
Graphic design / Photoshop skills; Adobe Premier an asset
