About the role
We are looking for a car enthusiast with strong practical knowledge of manual driving, manual transmissions, and cars to provide expert input for educational content.
What you will do
Your primary task will be to record yourself answering questions about manual driving, manual transmissions, and related automotive topics.
For each post, you will:
Receive a guide with the main topic and questions
Receive guidance on the specific subtopics and points that should be covered
Record yourself answering the questions based on your own knowledge and experience
Use Loom to record yourself and share your screen while answering
Explain the subject naturally and clearly
The guides may contain multiple questions and sub-questions depending on the topic.
You do not need to write articles. Your main responsibility is to provide your expertise and explanations through recorded answers.
Time commitment and pay
This is a part-time role, approximately 5–10 hours per week.
We expect to produce approximately 5–10 posts per week, with each post requiring roughly 1 hour of your time to review the guide, record your answers, and submit the Loom recording.
Pay: $10 USD per hour.
What we're looking for
We are looking for someone who:
Has strong practical knowledge of manual driving and manual transmissions
Is genuinely enthusiastic about cars and automotive topics
Can explain technical concepts clearly and naturally
Has broad knowledge of cars, driving, and related automotive subjects
Understands the experience of beginner drivers
Is comfortable speaking and recording themselves on camera
Can provide detailed, practical answers based on real experience
Can follow a topic guide and cover the requested subtopics
Can reliably complete assignments
Professional driving instructors, certified drivers, mechanics, automotive professionals, and experienced car enthusiasts are welcome to apply. Formal certification is not required if you have strong practical knowledge and experience.
How it works
You will receive a topic guide for each assignment.
The guide will provide the main subject, questions, and specific subtopics we would like you to discuss.
You will then record your answers using Loom and send us the recording.
You provide the knowledge, experience, and explanations. You do not need to write the final article.

The Loom recording does not need to be highly polished. We mainly want to understand your real-world experience, automotive knowledge, enthusiasm for cars, and ability to explain things clearly.
