About the opportunity
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing financial leadership training firm in Calgary, Canada, helping families and business owners plan for their future. We're looking for a creative, reliable assistant to build our brand and keep our social media active and professional.
What you'll do
Build and maintain our brand kit: logo files, colour palette, fonts, post templates and bio
Edit short-form videos (30–90 seconds) from raw phone recordings: cuts, captions, music and branded intro and outro
Design carousels and graphics in Canva
Write captions and a monthly email newsletter from our talking points
Schedule 4–5 posts a week across LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook
Reply to comments and messages using approved responses, and pass interested people to our scheduling assistant
Send a short weekly report: posts published, reach, engagement and leads generated
What you need
2+ years editing short-form video for social media, with a portfolio we can view
Strong Canva skills; CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar
Excellent written English and an eye for clean, professional design
Experience with a scheduling tool (Meta Business Suite, Buffer or similar)
Reliable internet and your own equipment
Comfort following a review process: all content is approved before it's posted
Nice to have
Experience marketing financial services, insurance, real estate or other regulated industries
Experience with email tools (Mailchimp or similar) and LinkedIn content
Schedule
Flexible hours, with at least 2 hours a week overlapping Calgary business hours (Mountain Time) for a check-in.
