About the role

Company: Integrated Staffing
Position: Business Development Manager
Job Type: Full-Time - Remote
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager who can identify, pursue and close profitable business with U.S.-based organizations.
This is not a passive lead-generation or administrative sales-support position. The successful candidate must actively find decision-makers, initiate conversations, qualify opportunities, conduct discovery calls, follow up consistently and help convert qualified opportunities into signed, profitable agreements.
DUTIES:
Identify U.S.-based companies that need low-voltage, telecommunications, network-infrastructure, field-service or staffing support.
Build targeted prospect lists using LinkedIn, industry directories, procurement portals, referrals, professional associations and online research.
Conduct outbound prospecting through telephone calls, email, LinkedIn and other approved channels.
Identify and contact decision-makers in operations, facilities, information technology, construction, procurement, project management and vendor management.
Develop relationships with direct clients, general contractors, technology integrators, manufacturers, healthcare organizations, data centers, logistics companies, retailers and other qualified organizations.
Maintain a consistent pipeline of prospects, qualified opportunities, proposals and follow-up activities.
Re-engage previous and inactive clients when authorized.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Must have previous experience bidding government telecommunications projects and must have awarded contracts
At least three years of successful B2B sales or business-development experience
Experience prospecting and selling to U.S.-based companies
Demonstrated ability to find prospects rather than relying exclusively on inbound leads
Experience conducting discovery calls, presenting services and closing business
Excellent spoken and written English
Confident and professional telephone communication
Strong follow-up and relationship-building skills
Experience using a CRM
Ability to manage a long and complex sales process
Strong judgment concerning client quality, risk and profitability
Ability to work independently and remain productive without constant supervision
Availability during U.S. Eastern business hours
Reliable high-speed internet, computer, headset and quiet professional workspace
