About the role
Responsibilities:
Edit short-form and long-form videos from raw footage, delivering engaging, story-driven content with minimal supervision.
Create compelling narratives using modern editing techniques, motion graphics, captions, sound design, and visual effects.
Produce content for YouTube, Instagram Reels, TikTok, and other social media platforms while optimizing for audience retention.
Organize project files, manage footage in Google Drive or SharePoint, and collaborate with remote teams.
Develop custom motion graphics, titles, lower thirds, transitions, and branded visual elements.
Provide creative input on content structure, storytelling, and videography to improve overall content quality.
Qualifications:
Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
Must have professional video editing and motion graphics experience from a corporate environment or as a Virtual Assistant. IMPORTANT
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects (or equivalent). IMPORTANT
Strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling, motion graphics, social media editing, caption design, sound design, and retention-focused editing. IMPORTANT
Experience with color correction, basic color grading, and editing various content formats.
Strong understanding of social media trends, audience retention, and content optimization.
Ability to work independently with excellent creative judgment and attention to detail.
Familiarity with AI-assisted editing tools, videography principles, and remote collaboration is a plus.
