About the role
We are seeking a confident Operations Team Lead to guide and mentor a team of 5-8 remote estimators. This is your chance to move beyond take-offs and into coaching, performance management, and operational leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership -- oversee daily productivity and output of remote estimators. Expert Coaching -- conduct weekly 1-on-1s. Quality & KPI Management -- monitor accuracy, speed, and client satisfaction. Process Advocacy -- refine workflows using your estimating background.
Required Qualifications:
Strong desire to coach and mentor rather than perform take-offs yourself. Familiarity with Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar tools. Full-time, 8 AM - 5 PM EST.
Preferred: Experience leading teams in AEC or staffing environments. Minimum 5+ years as a Construction Estimator with US General Contractor (GC) experience.
