Track return status, deadlines, and deliverables in Canopy practice management software.
Requirements (Must-Have):

Hands-on preparation of 1120, 1120S, and 1065 corporate tax returns, with 40+ returns completed in a single season. Commercial US tax software experience: CCH Axcess, Lacerte, UltraTax, or GoSystem. QuickBooks Online and/or Desktop proficiency, including adjusting journal entries and reconciliations. Bachelor's degree in Accounting. C1+ English (CEFR). Availability Monday-Friday 9:00 AM-5:00 PM ET, plus 4 hours on Saturdays during tax season.
Nice-to-Have: business-level Spanish fluency; foreign tax compliance exposure (Form 5471, FBAR); IRS notice and correspondence handling experience; Enrolled Agent (EA) credential or CPA license from any jurisdiction; prior review or supervision of junior tax preparers.
