Overview
Join our growing Texas law firm. We're looking for an experienced Legal Assistant with U.S. law firm experience, ideally with Estate Planning, Probate, or Litigation background.
Compensation & Benefits
Starting Rate: $6.00/hour
Performance review after 90-120 days with opportunity for a pay increase
Unlimited PTO after 90 days
Paid U.S. Federal Holidays after 90 days

Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience in a U.S. law firm
Estate Planning, Probate, or Litigation experience preferred but not required
Strong legal drafting and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal English communication
Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Technology
Uses pre-built document templates, Harvey AI, and other legal software; experience with these tools is a plus, training provided
Responsibilities
Prepare estate planning documents, probate pleadings, motions, and correspondence
Electronically file documents with Texas courts
Support attorneys with Estate Planning, Probate, and Litigation matters
Manage case files, calendars, deadlines, and client communications
Organize legal documents and maintain accurate case records
Ensure work complies with Texas laws and court procedures
A Juris Doctor (J.D.) is not required - practical experience in a U.S. law firm is what matters most
