About the role
Nexora Virtual Solutions is looking for an experienced Property Trust Accounting & Reconciliation Specialist to help investigate and resolve historical accounting discrepancies for selected properties supporting our US-based clients. This is not a routine bookkeeping role -- the focus is on financial diagnostics, reconciliation, historical transaction research, and trust-account cleanup.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and investigate historical accounting discrepancies. Perform Operating Cash and Security Deposit Cash reconciliations. Analyze bank activity, property ledgers, GL balances, and reconciliation reports. Trace transactions to identify the root cause of discrepancies. Prepare financial diagnostic reports and recommended correction plans. Present findings and supporting documentation to management. Make no adjustments without prior approval.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience in property management accounting. Strong knowledge of trust accounting principles. Hands-on experience with Operating Cash & Security Deposit Cash reconciliations. Strong understanding of property ledgers, bank reconciliations, balance sheets, and GL activity.
Preferred:
Experience with AppFolio, Yardi, Buildium, Rent Manager, or similar property management platforms, plus portfolio-level financial diagnostics.
