About the Role
V-Unite is looking for a Mobile Application Developer to build and support cross-platform applications for iOS and Android, ideally using Flutter and Dart. You will connect the mobile experience to our Laravel-based SaaS platform and help deliver secure API integrations, AI-enabled features, and workflow automations.
This role suits a developer who can work across the full application flow—from mobile UI and API requests to authentication, data handling, testing, release, and production support. We welcome responsible use of AI-assisted coding tools, but you must be able to understand, review, test, secure, and maintain the resulting code.
Technical environment: Flutter/Dart; PHP 8.3 and Laravel 10/11; Vue.js 3 and Nuxt; Node.js; TypeScript/JavaScript; MariaDB/MySQL; OpenRouter or comparable LLM APIs; n8n.
What You Will Do
Build, test, release, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android using Flutter and Dart.
Turn product requirements and UX designs into reliable features using appropriate mobile architecture, state management, navigation, and reusable components.
Integrate RESTful APIs, webhooks, and backend services while correctly handling requests, responses, payloads, errors, timeouts, retries, and failure states.
Implement secure authentication and authorization using suitable patterns such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWTs, API keys, refresh tokens, secure storage, and role-based access.
Collaborate with backend developers on Laravel endpoints, API contracts, business rules, and MariaDB/MySQL-backed data flows.
Build AI-enabled features using Large Language Model APIs such as OpenRouter and apply Retrieval-Augmented Generation fundamentals where appropriate.
Review, troubleshoot, and integrate n8n workflows, and use AI-assisted or vibe-coding tools responsibly for prototyping, development, debugging, and documentation.
Write tests, participate in pull-request reviews, troubleshoot production issues, document technical decisions, and support app-store releases and ongoing maintenance.
What We Are Looking For
Professional software-development experience, preferably including a production mobile or cross-platform application, with hands-on Flutter/Dart or strong comparable mobile-framework experience.
Strong knowledge of API integration, the request-response cycle, asynchronous programming, error handling, and secure authentication.
Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases, particularly MariaDB/MySQL, including schemas, joins, indexes, and query troubleshooting.
Ability to understand and integrate with a PHP/Laravel backend and work effectively within a Vue/Nuxt, Node.js, and TypeScript/JavaScript environment.
Hands-on experience with LLM APIs and RAG fundamentals, plus relevant experience with responsible AI-assisted development, n8n or comparable automation, or production AI-feature integration.
Strong Git, testing, debugging, documentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Experience
Published applications in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, including build, signing, release, and update experience.
Deeper experience with PHP/Laravel, Vue/Nuxt, Node.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, PostgreSQL, multi-tenant SaaS, cloud-based CI/CD, or application monitoring.
Hands-on n8n, embeddings, vector search, RAG evaluation, RBAC/MFA/SSO, real-time chat, WebSockets, WebRTC, push notifications, or offline synchronization.
Interview Project Walkthrough
Shortlisted candidates should prepare a 10-15 minute walkthrough of an application, AI feature, or automation they helped build. Cover your contribution, architecture and API flow, use of AI or n8n, one challenge and its solution, and how the work was tested and secured. A sanitized demo, screenshots, diagram, case study, or recorded walkthrough is acceptable; proprietary source code is not required.
