We are seeking a sharp, detail-obsessed Logistics Operations Manager to run the daily playbooks that keep freight moving on schedule and inventory accurate, coordinating with freight brokers, reconciling inventory, and ensuring timely warehouse inbounding.
Requirements
Execute daily logistics operations playbooks, applying independent judgment on the estimated 10% of cases outside standard procedure (must-have)
Source and compare freight brokerage quotes, balancing timelines against cost (must-have)
Coordinate directly with freight brokers to confirm bookings and resolve delays (must-have)
Reconcile inventory upon receipt against purchase orders and manifests (must-have)
Ensure timely warehouse inbounding (must-have)
Review commercial invoices for accuracy on cross-border shipments (must-have)
Apply working knowledge of HS codes to classify shipments correctly (must-have)
Maintain accurate records in internal operations tools (must-have)
Flag discrepancies, delays, or exceptions promptly (must-have)
Support ad hoc logistics projects and process improvements (must-have)
Background in logistics, freight, or e-commerce operations (must-have)
Experience with inventory reconciliation processes preferred
Experience with internal ops software, calculators, or WMS platforms preferred
