About the role
Overview
BoxStat is looking for a highly skilled Lead Mobile Developer to take full ownership of our live sports stat-tracking platform on iOS and Android. This role reports directly to the Founder and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can independently manage the entire mobile development lifecycle.
What You'll Do
Own and maintain iOS and Android applications
Manage App Store and Google Play deployments
Audit, optimize, and improve app stability and performance
Resolve bugs and crashes quickly
Support backend development, AWS infrastructure, and PostgreSQL databases
Lead AI/LLM integrations and upcoming product features
Requirements
Own a Mac and be highly proficient with Xcode
Proven experience publishing and maintaining live apps on both App Store and Google Play
Strong knowledge of Universal Links, App Links, and Apple/Google sign-in
Experience with AWS, PostgreSQL, Node.js, and/or Python
Ability to operate as a solo developer and take full ownership
