About the role
Overview
We are a growing digital agency looking for a sharp, results-driven Link Building Virtual Assistant to manage data mining and manual outreach for our Australian-focused projects.
What You Will Do
Handle competitor backlink analysis and prospecting for target domains
Find correct contact emails, build outreach databases, and perform LinkedIn database searches
Execute manual outreach campaigns (Guest Posts and Link Inserts/Niche Edits)
Negotiate with webmasters to secure placements that fit quality guidelines
Maintain and update outreach tracking sheets daily
Link Quality Criteria
Genuine, niche-relevant websites with real organic traffic and clean backlink profiles (Minimum DR 30+); zero-tolerance for PBNs, automated spam networks, or generic link farms
Requirements
Agency background in an SEO/Link Building agency
AU market knowledge, experience pitching Australian bloggers and site owners highly preferred
Existing network and personas a huge plus
Tool literacy (Ahrefs, Semrush, tracking sheets, etc.)
Reliable communication, responding within 24 hours (Monday-Friday)
Work Arrangement
Part-time (10-15 hours/week, flexible schedule)
