About the role
We're a Miami-based real estate investment group with an affiliated family office, looking for an experienced freelance bookkeeper to support us on an as-needed / project basis. This is NOT a full-time role, and there's no retainer — work is assigned by project.
You'd keep clean books across a few related entities (a real estate investment company, a residential property-management company, a holding entity, and a family office), so multi-entity / intercompany experience is essential.
Must have: Strong real estate bookkeeping — rental income & expenses, owner statements, multiple properties. Private equity / fund accounting exposure — capital accounts, distributions, investor reporting, K-1 coordination. QuickBooks Online and/or Xero (bonus: AppFolio or Buildium). Clear written and spoken English. Comfortable signing an NDA.
