About the company: A Hawaii-based construction and restoration company providing comprehensive commercial and residential building services across the islands, specializing in general contracting, renovations, construction management, and specialty trades. We are looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator to support commercial electrical projects across Hawaii.
Key Responsibilities: Review electrical drawings, specifications, and project documents, perform detailed takeoffs for commercial electrical scopes, quantify materials such as conduit, wire, cable, lighting fixtures, panels, breakers, devices, switchgear, disconnects, controls, prepare accurate labor and material estimates, support pricing for base bids, alternates, add-ons, and value engineering options, prepare takeoffs and pricing for change orders. Requirements: Experience as an Electrical Estimator, Electrical Quantity Surveyor, or Electrical Engineer, strong background in commercial electrical construction estimating, ability to read and interpret electrical plans, specifications, schedules, and single-line diagrams, strong Excel or Google Sheets skills, high attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred: Experience estimating U.S. commercial electrical projects, familiarity with NEC standards, experience with Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Accubid, McCormick, Trimble, or Procore.
Compensation: $1,300-$1,400/month.
