About the role
Key Responsibilities
Create residential remodeling plans using Chief Architect
Draft additions, basements, kitchens, bathrooms, and full construction plans
Convert design concepts, site photos, and measurements into detailed CAD drawings
Provide editable Chief Architect files for internal revisions and updates
Collaborate with the team and support plan modifications as needed
Maintain organized files and follow virtual workflow processes
Experience & Proficiency
Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
Chief Architect drafting/design experience from a corporate set-up or as a VA (important)
Strong experience in residential remodeling and construction drafting (important)
Proficient in Chief Architect software (important)
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Experience working in a virtual, collaborative environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet turnaround deadlines
Must provide portfolio/sample projects, software version, availability, and rate structure (important)
