About the role
Responsibilities:
Create and revise architectural, structural, and site plans using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar).
Prepare permit-ready drawing sets, including floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and site layouts.
Convert sketches, markups, and concepts into accurate CAD drawings.
Update drawings based on client, engineer, or architect feedback and ensure compliance with building codes and permit requirements.
Review engineering reports and apply design revisions based on inspections and project specifications.
Organize drawing files, title blocks, sheet layouts, and project documentation.
Qualifications:
Good English communication skills (written and verbal).
Should have CAD drafting experience either from a corporate set-up or as a VA. IMPORTANT
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar). IMPORTANT
Proficient in Google Sheets.
Strong attention to detail and ability to prepare permit-ready construction drawings.
Experience in the construction industry is a strong plus.
