About the role
Overview
A US trucking company is looking for a detail-oriented dispatch coordinator to join their remote team. They run on US Eastern Time, so the "night shift" falls during daytime hours in the Philippines (most likely 6 PM-4 AM EST, Mon-Fri).
Who They're Looking For
Dispatch/trucking/logistics/transportation/operations experience
Customer service (CSR) background welcome, but relevant logistics experience is what's really needed
Strong written English communication
Great attention to detail
Comfort following checklists & standard processes
Confidence using spreadsheets, email & dispatch software
Ability to work independently during evening/night hours
What The Role Involves
Monitoring active drivers during the shift
Reviewing driver status, location, Hours of Service & next-load plans
Checking if drivers can realistically make pickups & deliveries
Reviewing the schedule and flagging anything that looks off
Updating dispatch systems (McLeod & internal schedules)
Processing driver paperwork & confirming load details
Tracking maintenance, repairs & receipts
Sending clear handoff updates before the shift ends
